Imagine yourself this flower: The beautiful Bougainvillea (see image)

This plant is stunning and the flowers it produces are beautiful! Its stems are quite thick and look very strong, with long thorns on the stems. On the outside it has strong climbing vines, while its coloured flowers are as thin as tracing paper, saturated with rich colour.

Despite it looking quite hearty on the outside, it’s roots are very weak and if over-watered the roots will rot and the plant will not produce flowers anymore.  Sound surprisingly like some humans? Do you sometimes take on too much—and then crash and burn?

It’s a reminder that we all need to make time for ourselves to replenish ourselves with things that feed us. We may appear quite hearty on the outside, but buried deep, at the very beginning of our lush leaves and flowers sits our roots: and they are quite delicate, aren’t they? (Often much more than we let on!) The key is to make sure we are cared for—so as not to drown our delicate roots.

How do you know when you need more care than normal?

What are some ways that you regularly replenish yourself?

So here is my sales pitch: Schedule a session with me so and get clear on what you need to grow, and how you are going to get that care!

You, my darling, are a fantastic, colourful flower that needs tender care and tending to…
